Default Alarm / Immobilisor problems, help!!!

Hi,

My car alarm randomly went off about 6 weeks ago, i couldnt stop it and the fob would not work when pressed so i had to dissconnect the battery. Put a new battery on the car as i was advised it was that, it was fine for 3 weeks and then one sunday morning (2weeks ago) it decided to do exactly the same again. I dissconnected the battery again, it has been parked up the drive so i havnt been locking it in the day when i'm here. When i got into it yesterday on my way to work, i didnt have to press the keyfob to bring the dash lights up. Thought this was abit strange but drove off anyway. 10 mins up the road the car died on me and i come to a stop. Started the car up again, pressed the button and all was ok, and drove off normally to work. The same has happened to me tonight, but as i knew it could possibly happen again, when the car died down i pressed the keyfob all the lights come up on the dash and i drove on as normal. Getting really pissed off now as i cant go nowhere without not knowing if it will break down on me.

Any advice on what this could be causing this???

Thanks
