Need confirmation what turbo is on a 97 & 98 sti please

As title, is it the vf23 on the 97 & vf24 on the 98?

STi4 had a VF24. '98 WRX had the VF22.

mine had a vf22- there again it had 100k on it so no doubt wasn't the original. Come to think of it, it had a 2.5 too, so ignore my original post. I'm sure you remember the car Mark, I bought it of Rob and Kate kanok

Arr, yes it originally had a VF24, but I swapped it for the VF22 because it was better suited to the 2.5lt.
