Clutch biting point question
Hi all, I didn't post this in general as it's something i'm just curious about...not an actual problem.
Why does the biting point of the clutch change when sitting in traffic? I don't think there's anything wrong with mine, but after sitting in a que for a while, the biting point gets higher up.
Only really started noticing this as I adjusted the pedal feel a while ago so that the pedal wasnt loose, and now when sitting in traffic the biting point is very close to the top.
Still isn't a problem because it doesn't slip, and if it did, I would just adjust the pedal back a bit...I was just wondering what the mechanical reason for this is?

I'm gonna hazard two guesses here, both probably wrong though
1. The clutch plate gets hot when sat in traffic?
2. Scoob clutches are hydraulic so it is something to do with the fluid expanding slightly thus pushing the biting point up on the pedal?
As said, total guesses, unless your clutch is goosed
