Default Anyone fitted an Evo battery to a classic ?

Has anyone fitted a battery out of a Lancer Evo to a classic ? I'm looking at fitting one to give more clearance around the front mount intercooler pipework. Pics would be helpful

Cant c what the problem would be, unless evo's run on a different type of electricity.

Can't see that being an issue

I'm just interested to see if they go straight in ? Also,i'm sure I read somewhere that they aren't juicy enough and have a tendancy to go flat if not used regularly - anyone know if that's true ?

As far as I'm aware, if you match the size, voltage and capacity there's no difference... Apart from those tiny race batteries.... (actually, that would save me 4kilos... Or;- the contents of the glovebox )
