I did this on my old M5 Lights, and they came out looking new....

As i have just detangoed my Scooby lights, and as they are not in the car at present i will also be doing this fro the Subaru headlights..

Looks pretty damn good but will let you do yours first before I do mine , let us know the results.

 

I did my M5 ones last year...

Just finished 1 light on the scooby...used 1200 Grit sanded in straight lines horizontally, then with a 2000 Gritt vertically gently untill all the scratches that were from the 1200 Paper disappeared...Used the buffer with some polish, and it has come out nice and clean...
