think the tell tale was uprated or standard. standard = four springs in clutch plate. uprated 6 springs. count them is the best advice!

Pink box means nothing other than it is more likely to be Excedy. They do standard (four spring) and uprated (six spring) just because it is Excedy does not mean it isn't just a straight swap OEM part.

Not heard that but is it difficult to put a tesco value product in a better box? Wouldn't call it reliable like.

Course could be totally wrong, those were the pics seen previously when i was looking into it as i was after a standard rather than uprated (not doing anything to justify the uprated clutch really!)

Let us know what Exedy UK say
I have seen some of these threads and it appears the 4 spring FD08H1 is the updated product not the unmodified one as we have been told by some who also show the same 4 spring pic on there own website

Exedys website lists the correct one as a FD08H so it sounds right the newer version would be the FD08H1

hmmmmmm i know the 6 spring is uprated so i presume there must be a 4spring uprated one !!! ? but then again if the ecedy site says the FD08H1
is uprated exedy can't be wrong ???

Take a look at the thread in GB https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...ebay-link.html Post six explains the issue about 6 or 4 springs.
