Best car you've ever been in?
What's the best car you've ever actually been for a proper drive in both as a driver and as a passenger? I don't mean handling or reliability or a 1st gear pootle around a car-park, more of a proper blast in a dream supercar-classic type thing. I'll kick things off, but I can't decide between two in each category!
Driver:
1) Ferrari 456 GTA
2) Ferrari 360 Manual
Passenger:
1) 1973 Ferrari Daytona. Modified to wide body Competizione spec with 450BHP and side exhausts. Sounded like thunder and went like lightning.
2) 1980 Lola T590 Sports 2000. Road-registered proper ex-competition open sports racer with silly power-to-weight ratio that was so fast and exposed that it used to blow your eyelashes into your eyeballs! My Dad managed to spin it on a country road one icy Christmas Day morning and my mum occasionally even used to pick him up after work from the railway station in it!

All the cars at Corporate Driving at Bedford Autodrome - PalmerSport 2008
Especially the JP1 and Formula Jaguar (real downforce).
Havent driven any serious road cars but the above was simply unbelievable and the instructors know how to get the best from you and the car.
Made the drive home in the impreza feel like a hovercraft!
