Fitting Cold Air feed to 2003 STi with APS CAI
Just purchased all the bits i'm gonna need to do this through the offside Foglight cover. Had a quick look behind it this afternoon and it looks as though the APS Filter sits quite low in the gap. Has anybody had problems with water getting though and contaminating the Filter
Also how did you attach the hose to the gap next to the filter I was thinking of using some Cable ties and holding it in place that way.
Ta very muchly
Oh and PS The hose is gonna be 90mm Wide

Just had one fitted to my RA-R. I'm using an open fog lamp surround to feed air directly into the wing. I've driven my car in the **** weather we've had lately and had no problems and it was so bad at the time that I was rather concerned with getting some hydrolock, but luckily no issues.
It doesn't sit as far down in the wing as you might think.
As for fitting, can't really help there as mine was fitted by Powerstation.
I hope you're getting a remap as I've read the APS CAI can cause scaling issues on the MAF.

The APS CAI has been on the car for quite a while now M8 and the map was altered at the same time by Mocom. It's going in for a full 3" Turbo back exhaust in the next few weeks so i'm looking to fit the cold air feed before it goes back in as again it'll require a tweak of the Map when the exhaust goes on
