As an Approved car via a main dealer it shold come with 12 months warranty. Terzo's have the same running gear and like other 98s are liable to suffer piston slap.
It's a known problem and some owners have been successful ingetting the problem resolved even though the cars warranty had expired. but if there's any suspicious noises choose another.

The cars affected mainly by piston slap were the 97 and 98 MY's the 99-00's have modified engines that is suppose to stop this (not that technically minded but someone will be able to tell you the differences ) Its common (ish) but not always bad (ish) but if you have any reservations you can always take the car to a dealer and they can fix it for you
