Default Scoobyparts mud flaps for my 2000 classic

Just brought some flaps as above from scoobyparts but on the rear ones the steel plate over laps the the body work in side the wheel arch where you have to put the screw in so do i have to bend the plate back round on its self to put the screw in?

Any one have these fitted on there 98-00 classic?

Dont you just screw the bracket to the inside of the wheel arch bending it to the same shape as the arch ?

yes on the front flaps the screw goes straight in at the end of the bracket but the bracket on the rear overlaps slightly where the screw is supose to go so it looks like you have to bend the bracket round and screw it in that way?seems easy enough but was just making sure?

Yes.
Just bend it round where it overlaps around the inner arch.
