Put my reg in and it said I had been caught in Middlesborough. Never even been near the place. Was about to go off on one thinking someone had copied my reg plate.....until I clicked the photo!

With the number of members, posts and items discussed here, there is a fair chance that something like your database will have already been posted on SN (often once or twice !) - hence the sarkie, but friendly posts/remarks
One bit of advice - if you come across a photograph of a car commonly mentioned on scoobynet partially submerged in a big cold pond, RESIST ALL TEMPTATION TO POST IT .... trust me

Bollox, it caught me out. Never seen that before.
typed in my reg, and sure enough I'd been caught in Cornwall. Thing is, I'd recently sold my car, so for a split second (before clicking on the picture) I thought I might be getting some bother if the DVLA's data hadn't been updated.

To be honest I knew it was a hoax, but just to humour it I typed in my reg and... oh no! Middlesborough, 80 in a 70, 30th of August!
And just like that it got me! I was paranoid for a bit afterwards!
