what upgrades ppp wrx 53 plate??
hi guys and gals would ideally like relevant info on this model but mines a wagon..
so its a ppp currently what mods can i safely use to increase power circa 300bhp-- up to 350
fuel pump / intercooler? remap
or further engine mods bigger turbo/ internals?
maybe someone could stage results as a known result from various applications.
stage 2---- bhp?
stage 3---- bhp??
stage 4----
have already bought a good front brake set up albeit smaller wrx calipers
dba 4000 wiperslots and paid blues.. will try and match rears
and spend on a suspension upgrade too
obviously may have to upgrade other areas too so may consider clutch/flywheel to match power..
although currently car is off road and am awaiting confirmation of problem before deciding what to do next so may well be an ongoing project or one will have to save for..
any recommendations welcome folks

I can't vouch for these guys as I have never used them (perhaps somebody else on here can) - but website looks informative and this should answer most of your questions. I plan to book in with them when I hae raised a few more quid - will let you know as and when that happens and how I get on.

I used parts from STi PPPs to get 340 hp/ 320 lbft on my old 03 PPP wagon.
Parts used were:
STi intercooler & scoop tray
VF35
Pink injectors
Prodrive fuel pump
GM 3 port boost solenoid
Prodrive sports cat
STi up-pipe
Ecutek remap (Zen)
Total cost was just under £2000 with DIY fitting. These parts can probably be sourced a bit cheaper now there are more STis at breakers.
On the other hand, a complete package from a tuner such as Powerstation is about £2500 for the same output, including fitting and a warranty.
I kept the standard clutch and had no problems with, but then I don't do many standard start blasts.
The only parts kept from the WRX PPP package was the rear box and decat part of the downpipe.

I have the same car and spent £2800 at Powerstation, VF34,panel filter, Miltek exhaust, Ecutek and could only manage 293BHP. For a power hike of 80BHP it will cost you a lot more than £2500 at a reputable tuner. I then went further, Importantly sti pinks (think 650cc may have been better) larger TMI and Sti scoop /undertray, uprated fuel pump and then Tubular Headers. The car is an honest 340bhp(ZEN). As long as you don't abuse it and just have fun with it then I can't see the need to worry about internals
