Hi,

I've been asking similar questions to find out what my options are, there is a site that is allegedly selling for about 22k uk spec sti7 (cant remember the name unfirtunately) - but there may be discretion required with the company as views of it are varied from very bad to good.

Plus other issues like the thread i had started (european imports specification???? ) dont know how to add a thread here or smilies. no replies yet.

Somebody will help i'm sure.

Stupot, you've been away quite a while! How are you doing?

Micronetshowroom seem to have a good price for EU STi's, as do Litchfield. I've just started looking at Japan for the 'grey' side of things, but nobody seems to have gone down this route recently.

Do you still have your scoob?

Yes - i have spoken to some dealers in Holland and the new RHD UK Spec STi pricing will be out any day now (for Joe Public) but as already stated, Litchfields are doing them already.....

I was told that Subaru UK have been buying up all right hand drive stocks that would be available for Europe, and delivery probably wouldn't be this year.
This came from a very large Subaru dealer, how accurate it is I don't know.

I thought UK franchises weren't allowed to purchase European imports and sell them here.

I think I saw a site with them on from Germany but in honesty I ain't looked that hard to find them. Some dealers mentioned they were still waiting for rhd price confirmation from subaru Japan.

Sounds dubious - I wonder if Ian Litchfield can comment as I'm sure he's got stock for the rest of the year?

(he'd know though....)

Hi Free T - most of the other manufacturers' franchised dealers do - it's just IM trying to shackle their dealers. There are plenty of Euro import TTs on franchised Audi dealers' forecourts, for example. Also imported Discos are popular with LR dealers.

Yes you can import Sti from Europe. I have one on order at the moment with Iain Litchfield but I have to cancel my order. If you contact him via his website www.litimports.co.uk you could have my one due end of Feb blue/black.

Cool

Stupot, good luck with the new venture, I may be interested when you're set up so email me the details.

I'm on my second turbo and it's great, I've got the bug bad now and I feel the need for speed, so STi looks like my next move.

BTW you were the very first person that I had met from this scooby community at my first meet (Bently '99 I think!). You made me feel very welcome Chuckster was the second in his beastie

Hi,

The only STI that is no longer available for import is the Prodrive version. We will have to wait to see if the factory will do another batch as by all accounts it has gone down quite well in Japan . However the normal STI is no problem to get hold of Our demo will be here shortly and will have the Performance pack on for all those interested

Regards

Iain
