The stuff recomended to me and what always goes in my car is silkolene 10w 50. I have a wrx 03 running 311bhp so the thicker stuff is better. Have you got any mods or is it the standard car? What scoob is it?

I've put 10w 60 Millers in mine, used the whole 5 litres (you use some to flush the engine), car is running very smooth.
I will most likely change the oil again to prepare for the winter weather but will definitely go for Millers again, not the cheapest but works a treat.

I have a Version 5 Type-r no real mods, 310 bhp
Im currently rebuilding the engine after spining a bearing
I have the V9 crank and rods
Im obviously not going to run then engine in on this stuff.
Just wondering for when its run in.

Use motul 300v 15w50 in my classic, always ran it on 15w50 from different manufacturers for the last 30,000 mile, motul even at the same grade seems to make mine run smoother from cold than the other 15w50`s-used to use silkolene and before that mobil 1 motorsport, aint cheap stuff but do rate it-will stick with the motul now-im quite happy with it.
