Smile NEW WHEELS

I would like some new wheels, my 05 wrx has the standard twin spoke alloys with new goodyear eagle f1.I don't know if I should change to 18's but that means new tyres or 17's and keep my tyres. I fancy a multi spoke wheel because they look bigger. Is the ride any worse with 18's? I expect it's hard to find good secondhand one's. Thanks for any advice, Mick.

Mick, I went from 17's to 18's and also added prodrive lowering springs and didn't feel any difference, but looked great!! Just keep your eye on the classified section and a good secondhand set will come up!!

Moved from 17's to 18's and from Goodyear F1s to Pirelli P-Zero's. The biggest difference I found was that the Pirellis have a stiffer tyre wall than the Goodyears. And road noise increased. But apart from that I have the same sort of set-up as Mike Murphy on a blob STi.

Thanks for the replys, I'll have to save up some money for both wheels and tyres! Mick.
