Question

I have seen a Terzo WR for sale at £13500, with 69k, S reg-98.

Do you think it is a bit overpriced? Bearing in mind it has £7000 worth of factory extras put on, ie wheels, prodrive mod, etc.

Book price is £10500.

Far too expensive with that mileage. Insurance will be quite a bit more expensive with a lot of mods as well.

Why not buy the 'X' plate MY00 with just 11000 miles for £13995(see For Sale section) - a far better buy (Dave am I on commission )

Cheers,

Ian.

When I buy a car I think, how long will I own it? how many miles will I do? You may have probs selling the car on at a later date (with loads of miles).

For the money you have you can get a 18-24 month old car. It may be standard, but will have a lot more life left in it.

My Terzo was less money with half the milage found on Scoobynet. so don't rush into anything just decide exactly what you want and the colour if you want a certain one and put a wanted posting -on this site.

Is a Terzo WR a different car from a Terzo then?

I paid just over £14/- in December. My came with P1 wheels and 21500 miles. Fair enough I know it was a little on the pricy side. However, it does come with a full Scooby history & warranty, peace of mind doesn't come cheap.
However, I did view a car at a dealership in Leicester which had 51500, that was priced at £16000, although it came with a bodykit and leather interior. That had been owned by the companies MD, but like you I thought it was way over the mark for that sort a mileage.

Best of luck anyway,

Ed

A WR has the performance pack fitted so a little more horsepower up from 208 to around 237bhp.

Not sure if I remember correctly, but didn't the MY98 Prodrive pack have very little effect on the car's performance.

Prodrive car did give 238 bhp, but the standard cars were already doing around that figure.

I think a couple of guys (one had a Terzo, the other was Bob from Somerset), asked Prodrive to 'de-modify' the car and got their money back.

Not sure if this is correct though. Maybe worth checking out the dyno page.
