Default Anyone with a full RCM Team Ice System with Sports CAT.

All,

Took my car to get the M.O.T done yesterday.

She passed with flying colours but the only note made was the "noisey exhaust" . Phew.

Anyone else with this system go through ok or had any problems with the test centre?

My system is a FULL RCM team Ice with there Sports CAT.

Steve

They should think themselves lucky that they test it at 2700rpm and not 5400rpm!

No, I dont even have registration plates for my Impreza... Ive seen one at full chat on a rolling road though. Can you imagine the advisory if theyd had to rev that high?

You're lucky! I just failed my MOT test on emissions (with all cats just faulty lambda) but also failed on being too noisy with only a scoobysport backbox on!
Couldnt believe it.

Assuming its a JDM car, how can you fail for that. I understand the regulations well enough btw. Id appeal and cause the fools as much grief with VOSA as you can.

I know. I'd dread to think about that.

Nothing like a nice suprise once in a while.

That's a little harsh mate. I don't know what to say to that.

What she make on the rollers that day?
