my missus was driving the car through the cinema trying to get batman tickets (sold out typical) and a car just shot out in reverse came over the white line where she was driving and smased al the rear quarter in. Petrol cap is dented all the rear quarter.

We have a witness backing this up , could this mean we shouldnt have a problem getting the claim?

Beacause im worried about loosing my no claims because if i do the scoob will have to go.And for excess is there anyway of not paying excess because its quite high which i feel i shouldnt have to pay due not being my fault?

 

you dont pay if your claiming of the other persons insurance , if your claiming off yours you dont have a choise i take it your fully comp ?

 

Same thing happened to me m8 some guy reversed into the side of me, he took full blame and his insurance paid to get my car fixed and sent me to enterprise for a courtesy car (still have my no claims)

 

yeh im fully comp, just rang my company up and ive got to repair it and pay the excess then i will be refunded once the claim is settled.

i have a independant witness surely that will help me win? and how long does this thing take?

yeah got caught out by some numpty in a megane with a tow hitch, on a slope at trac#ffic lights, red light, never put her handbrake on rolled back and put the tow hitch through the front bumper, luckily i was in the missus fiesta as we were just leaving for a 300 mile trip up country, didnt puncture the rad thank god but the low loader is coming on tuesday to drop of the courtesy car and take her away for a new bumper, so glad it wasnt the scoob as if it was the position it hit would have kileed the bumper and the rad, i mean who has a tow hitch on a megane 1.4 anyways, probably to protect the car in case anyone goes into the back of them! numptys!
