Default fitted some carbon fibre wings last night

just fitted some carbon fibre front wings to my classic turbo 2000

i was amazed how light they were i bought them for the looks really but did not think they would make a big difference to handling but i was wrong the front end is so much lighter and and feels a lot sharper when turning and a lot more agile anyone els got them fitted got the cf bug now

i gotthe fuel flap cover grill and wings all that is left is the bonnet and boot lid and spoiler

Are these proper pre-preg CF, or are they wet laid with CF over the top of GRP (like virtually every carbon fibre bonnet)?

Sorry mate but even steel wings arent that heavy, so carbon fibre ones are certainly not enough to make a noticeable difference to handling.

I would say that your having a bit of a placebo effect here. Put the steel ones back on and see if it still handles the same. I'm sure it will.

I've no doubt they look cool though.
