Default Back behind the *wheel* of a subaru, well nearly

Finally brought another subaru, after being without one for almost a year its an 03 plate wrx sti in WR blue with 28k on the clock, unfortunatley its got a private plate on at the minute so going to have to wait a bit until i can pick it up from the garage.
The car looks to have had some modifications, a full exhuast system, I think and a K and N typhoon induction kit, along with new 18" rota alloys. becuase of this I thought maybe the previous owner might have been a member on here, the reg at the minute ends in MUZ however the original reg ends in GYN, I am thinking if i cannot find any previous info on the mods it might be worth getting it put on a rolling road, maybe powerstation just to check everything is running ok.

What do you guys think? havent heard that many great things about the K&N and i dont want any damage done to the engine

by the way i previously owned a 2003 wrx in the same colour, cant imagine owning anything other at the minute.
