Question Spacesaver question

Anyone who know owt about wheel/tyre problems, ie: running one wheel a greater diameter than another, please look here:

The 17" space saver is really to match new age 225/45/17 (or 225/40/18) tyres. I remember reading an article from Volvo about their 4wd system which recommended that there should be no more than 2mm difference in tyre tread depth for normal use. Your measurements would give a 12mm radial difference and will definitely give your LSDs a hard time, if you do have to use it I'd suggest driving very slowly (30 max?). How about getting a full size spare and sidestepping this problem.
