i'm on the verge of buying a blob eye STi typeuk with ppp... if i changed the exhaust system to a blitz nur spec r or an afterburner vortex with or without a decatted downpipe would it affect the performance in any way??

not noticable, the PPP includes a sports cat so if you went for a full decat you'd be best to get it remapped (well i would to be on the safe side)

Apparently the prodrive sports cat is a good one and theres only a couple of bhp difference to a full decat. Just depends if you want hassle MOT time i guess

 

i put on an afterburner bb and a de res centre on my blob sti ppp, sounds so much better

just change the back box and get a deresonated centre mate. No need for remap and it will sound 100 times better!

 

oh it is loud but not as loud as the blitz nur spec

 

have a blitz on my classic and i love it so i want to keep the blobeye sounding just as loud
