engine ej20gdw5he

chasis gc8c48d.

ive googled the no's and have found some info re bhp and model type,im wonering if its a limiterd as some of the info ive found seems to point that way,it can be quite confusing because of the amount of different models.

If thats what it says on vin plate then sounds like a WRX V-LIMITED

The engine bay hasn't got sti markings on it has it?

Id say that it was a standard C2-Series WRX Saloon. Thats the engine code for a WRX, as is the applied model number. 260bPS / 257BHP and itll run happily on Tesco 99RON / V-Power.

Is your vin plate this :

model code : GC8C48D
trim code: 65
engine code: EJ20G DW5HE
gearbox: TY752VB4AA

Then its a WRX V-Limited, your engine code matches the early WRX STi Version 2 same as mine.
I can confirm I do have an STI engine in mine, as Ive had it apart

EJ20GDW5HE engine code doesnt equal 'STI' on my reference. Personally, I wouldnt ever get into an argument based on the information in the links posted here. The C&K site particularly, is full of mistakes.

When you can dude, get rid of the rear lights for standard or STi ones.

You may find lexus lights and other halfords specials arent very popular in here.
