dunno what sort mine is...but if you dont press the secret hidden button, the car will make a blipping noise and continue untill it is pressed...if you dont then all hell brakes loose and the car cuts out and the alarms start sounding......

also does the same if anyone opens the door whilst you are driving.....a good deterent...

bit of a bugger wen you forget to tell the garage and they cant get hold of you and the alarm wont stop.....

The geezer that did mine(Tim) is based in Stalybridge (Trilogy) and is well recommended.

I've got a clifford G5 concept, everytime the drivers door is opened and shut it sets in motsion the antijacks which is a different distance every time, I measures the revs buiding up and dropping as well as the brakes, if you drive slowly and steady you can go for a few miles, if you put your foot down and brake sharply afterwards it sets it off very quickly'

When it sets the warning the blue alarm light in the car starts flashing quickly, the alarms cherps and the hazards flash, you then have 40 seconds to enter the secret code, this is 2 buttons, 1 button you press a certain amount of times then the second button to confirm it and then the first button a certain amount of times again and the second button to confirm, then the blue alarm light goes out.

It's a good idea but it gets on your nerves everytime you open the door having to do this, if you get the code wrong the brake lights come on the alarm goes off and you aint going anywhere till you switch the ignition on and off and enter the code correctly, the antijacks makes the alarm remote not work till the code is in.

It is dangerous because everytime you need to reset the antijacks you are in traffic or on a junction or driving around a round-a-bout, it always seems to do the cherping and hazard flash but groups of people who look at you and wonder whats going on.

Go idea if you can get used to it.

I had one fitted to a previous Scoob I owned I have now fitted blackJax

I would say all these and other electronic devices trackers etc are brilliant at stopping the opportunist and Mr Dumbo car thieves

but if Mr Compedant or Mr Pro

A) will be looking for a Tracker and A/Hijack device on any Scoob

B) will know how easy they are to overcome/find

IMHO if you really want to keep your car

1) use more "mechanical" type devices aswell, hopefully this will make it awkward and therefore choose a different car

2) install a second Tracker so the find the easy unactivated one first and believe they are safe then being tracked by the second one "Activated one"

3) If Mr Pro wants your car he is going to have it, end off

4) would you wnat it back afterwards??

IIRC IMHO

Tony
