Default Advice on price for selling a scoob

Just looking for some advice really for my boss. He has a T reg Impreza Turbo 2000, in Red, 77000 miles on the clock, oil changed every 7500 miles...the mail he saent is as follows:-

Impreza Turbo Saloon, UK spec, June 99(T), red, one "mature" owner, 77,000 miles, aircon, totally standard, recent clutch. FSH (mostly by me, with bills to prove, including full synthetic oil used every 7,500 miles

The important bits there are "Totally Standard"...and 1 mature owner. He is about 50(ish)...I said it is quite rare to find an unmodified impreza as most have been "changed" to varying degrees.

Really, what he is looking for is an idea on what price he can expect to get for it. Ebay and autotrader are full of modified examples, but that wouldnt be a fair idea?

Anyone??

Cheers chaps and chappies

in comparison... i recently sold this...
Subaru : REDUCED Red UK 99' Impreza Turbo (P/X)
for £3,000.

i would hazard a guess youll struggle to get more than £3,500 to be honest. standard or not, theres loads for sale. i had a lot of time wasters and even a couple of pillocks on here tried their luck with ridiculous offers.

there arent that many late uk classics in red, may help a little.

good luck anyway.

cheers fella. I suppose it all depends on what people want at the time. I suppose the 2 good things are standard, and 77000 miles, but we'll see

yeah definatley. in my favour i had a £1700 gearbox rebuild, an engine rebuild at 70k and upgraded/replaced suspension. the guy on here who bought from me recieved an absolute bargain...

maybe put it up for £4000 and take a little less if offered, im just going by my own unfortunate circumstances.

good luck to your mate.
