why do you need to do so many polls why didnt u just do one with all the companys and get people to vote which one they would recoomend and why seen about 6 so far feel like shooting myself

Not a bad idea. Perhaps an idea to start that thread in a couple of days when everyone has had their say.

A completely new section for voting on dealers would be best but as they cant be arsed to change homepage or remove old advertising banners I guess that would be way to hard to do

Then anyone who was thinking of using a company (perhaps they have seen an advert in a magazine, or seen a special on the traders website, etc.) can get a good idea of what to expect from what other members have experienced.

It's a central place where businesses can come and look to see how they are doing in the customers eyes and where they should strive to make improvements in their business.

You can only have a poll with 10 choices max.

If all traders were listed in one post, it would turn into a mud slinging match!

I do think these would be better placed in the Dealer and Third Party forum section ... but polls are not enabled in that section. Hoping the mods can move them and enable polls there.

Lastly, if you are not interested, then feel free to ignore the polls/threads ... I am not doing this for my benefit, as I only deal with and buy from a few trusted suppliers. I have not even voted on most of the polls I have started, as I have not dealt with those companies first hand.

Also people will be interested in business locallity.

Powerstation might be brilliant I don't know ? but I wouldn't travel that far so I wouldn't use them necessarily or be able to recommend them. The poll would be devalued by people only recomending their local preference where as individual polls allow you to see each trader in isolation.

It's a good idea and one borne out of genuine interest rather than hidden agenda as is sometime the case.

Great idea IMHO although I wouldn't make any conclusions if a business chooses not to use the poll as a right to reply.

Sorry, but threads like this there is no need for them. Yes it is a good idea, but it has not been thought out throughly enough.

Some of the members just seem to be ganging up on xyz company and slating them. There is no need. If you have a problem, talk to the company in question in a calm and reasonable manner to discuss you problem(s).

but people are just going in voting stay away for sake off it and not act leaving comments as to y they voted it so its not really tht good a idea as the results arnt going to be correct if people are just doing bad wen theyve never act been there
