When replacing the old standard impreza exhaust for a new system, do you have to put a new heat shield through out?

Or can you just keep the shield for the turbo and lag the down pipe with some foil faced stuff from demon tweeks?

 

keep the origional heat shield, but may need trimming if you fit a decat downpipe, .wouldnt use foil based stuff, get some proper heat wrapp
