Default Help! Fitting a Blitz

Just wanted to know how easy it is to fit a Blitz Nur Spec R (Backbox and centre pipe?
Anyone know of rough prices you would pay for some one else to fit it?

Have just been quoted about £110

Fitted my old Nur Spec R myself, well, with a mate helping! Piece of the proverbial, although the old Magnex system was a bit stubborn coming off, all it should take is a bit of elbow grease matey

With a few spanners, trolley jack, axle stands & some sealing putty it should be easy I've changed them myself many times and it doesn't take long.

Who quoted you that?

You don't need to go to any fancy tuning place. Any good mechanic will fit it for you, maybe the usual one you have used for past cars.

LOL I'm just lazy. Was thinking of a local garage down the road, but wasn't sure.

I got the quote from Mocomracing.com.
But they said it was for full system, maybe thought I was fitting downpipe as well??! But anyhows, very expensive

Downpipes can be be harder due to access, once you've done a couple they are easier

We complain about fuel costs and all!

I have been to scooby tuning places and some of them just ask silly prices. If you need mapping , rolling road or block work then fine you need them.

Took my scooby to my friend a back street mechanic who has 30yrs experiance in jap/euro cars, hgv lorries, trucks, coaches , vans, mopeds. He worked for Tata Motors - military vehicles division and JCT600 in the past

Is currently working on a porsche 993 turbo engine. A scooby is nothing is for him . He complained i should have come to him sooner! Currently keeping my scooby going on the road!
