We have had our car for about 3 weeks and last weekend we had a Nokia 3210 car phone kit fitted. Ther car was not used for a day and now it has a flat battery. Has anyone else had this problem? I am presuming that the car kit has something to do with it or could it be something else?
Is our first port of call the dealer or the company that installed the kit? We have only put the phone in the kit when the car is being driven and removed it when it is not.
Any body got any clues?

The kit shouldn't be drawing any power from the car unless the phone is in it. Perhaps it's been wired wrong?
Probably worth checking the condition of the battery first though, which most places will do free.

Cheers will try first thing tomorrow, will most battery fitters be able to test the battery for free?

There are problems with 3210 batterys holding charge. Phones can lose all the standby time if the battery is on the phone when the phone is turned off.

Probably a battery fault.

Sorry I thought the phone battery was flat, but do they make a geniune Nokia car kit for this phone? I did not think they made one but if it has been wired to the battery it can draw power.
