Not being to mechincally minded when you have a 45000 miles service do they change the 2 belts you can see behind the radiator with subaru ones.

Come on guys i have just bought a car which has surpose to have had its 45000 miles service but one belt says MITSUBISHI and the other says FUJI could this be correct,it was done at a dealers.

They are only the drive belts for the aircon and alternator, so I wouldn't worry to much on the make.. they were probably just lying around in new parts bin and happened to be the correct size.

If I remember I'll check what make mine are.

As to whether they should be changed : I think it depends on condition.. at the 45,000 service the cam belt should be changed I believe and you have to remove these two belts then so seems silly to just put the old ones back on unless they are fairly new...

the cam belt is under the black plastic covers at the front of the engine. as stated the ones you can see are just the alternator and power steering (I think) etc.
