I thought the Outback was actually a version of the Legacy...? Apologies to Legacy owners if I'm incorrect and my ignorance has offended you.

It is, which is why , o the tailgate, it says "Subaru Legacy" then on the other side "Outback". Later models have though , dropped the Legacy bit.
In the US , the Outback sport is a jacked up Impreza.
I'm not offended. The Outback is Rubbish!

A stealthy discreet Impreza that doesn't look like I need to carry a family of ten. Faster than most people carriers too

Forester T/tb because it's not an Impretza or an Impressa or an Imprezza or an Impreza or any other variation.
Had Legacy turbo estates prior to the T/tb, super stealth cars.
