dump valve help please

Default dump valve help please

just brought a second hand sard r2d2 dump valve for my 1994 wrx to replace my rather quiet baileys managed to fit it onto the baileys fitting kit was tight as the bottom of the dump valve was slightly bigger & wasnt much clearence between the valve & the bonnet started her up & seem to idle ok took her out & can hardly hear it & there ment to be loud checked all the connectors seem ok any ideas thanks?

read these are adjustable could this be why its quiet the spring tension needs loosening? anyway know how this is done on this bov?

some bov's have different size springs for different volumes
is this one of these????

im not sure mate always had baileys & not had to do anything with them this site is selling it but doesnt tell you great detail & cant seem to find much information anywere else either, heard one at scoobylive liked the sound & one came up at a good price so couldnt resist Dump Valves : Subaru Impreza Sard R2D2 BOV

Untighten the 10mm bolt on the top, unscrew the allen key bolt a few turns, then retighten the lock nut.

cheers mate ive done that will give it a try when i get chance whats the best way of checking it opens ok cause i dont think you can see it open up like the baileys?

Stick it back on e-bay and with the proceeds buy yourself something that's actually worth having..

Then convert the car back to re-circ and enjoy trouble free performance motoring without the added "bonus" of sounding like a chav every time you change gear..
