My MY99 comes up to 3 years old in October. I've just had the warped brake discs replaced today under warranty, which was quite pleasing, and I'm expecting it to need a new warranty clutch at the next service (a mere 9000 miles and 13 months since the last warranty clutch ).

So the question is this: do I extend the warranty? It's £250 for one year or £388 for 2 years (but subject to a mileage ceiling, which won't affect me). I'm not sure that this warranty is as cast-iron as IM's though - I think clutches are a specific exclusion, for instance, and maybe brake discs too.

Anyone know whether it's worthwhile? If I need more warranty discs or a clutch, then it'll pay for itself immediately - if that's covered. But if it doesn't really cover anything I might need, then I'll keep the £250 aside towards the next clutch replacement.
