Hey, just thought it might be interesting to see what performance cars or any cars for that matter people have had before getting their Impreza. What were your first cars and everything else inbetween!!

Ok i'll start, in order starting with my first car :

1993 - Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI-----------Legend - Nothing else need be said
1995 - Subaru Impreza WRX 260bhp---As above

Finances took a turn for the worst:

1994 - Cavalier 2.5 V6 GLS Auto-------Smooth, previous owner was a priest
2001 - Renault Clio 1.2 16v Sport------Shopping car, Engine blew up!

Finances were on the up:

1999 - Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo-----------Very quick car, useless in the wet
1998 - Ford Puma 1.7------------------Disappointment in every way
1996 - Alfa Romeo 2.0 GTV T-Spark----Good car no problems, more BHP!
1998 - Alfa Romeo 3.0 GTV V6---------Sound, looks, Engine.... hence
1999 - Alfa Romeo 3.0 GTV V6---------and again
1999 - Alfa Romeo 3.0 GTV V6---------and again
2000 - Alfa Romeo 3.0 GTV V6 Aero----and then finally back to...
1999 - Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo UK---Bit disappointed to be honest think it needs a bit of tweaking! 215 bhp aint enough anymore. Feels sluggish.

1996 Civic VTI 4 door saloon - (nice engine & box, brakes & suspension not very good)
1999 Civic EK4 Jordan - (same as above, bright yellow, ltd edition of 500)
2001 Civic EK4 VTI Black - (same as above but stunning in black, on coilovers handled very well)
1998 Integra Type R - (good brakes, LSD, raw drive, a wicked drivers car!!!)
2004 Civic Type S - (not enough power - good as a first car )
2004 Civic Type R - (nice engine/box/brakes, needs an LSD to add that extra grip in the twisties)
2004 Honda S2000 - (perfect rear wheel drive setup, awesome engine, one of the best gearchanges i have experienced so far)
2004 Subaru Impreza Sti PPP & 2004 Corsa CDTI (Current car - will get a JDM 98 spec Integra DC2 as a daily driver when funds allow)

Golf TDi - No idea why! Waste of 10 grand, owned for 7 months and lost 5k on it!
Escort RS2000 - Running a RR proven NASP 211bhp, 2.3 Galaxy bottom end, lots of headwork, Ford motorsport exhaust system, EGR removed, lots of head work, cams, and Jenvey throttle bodies with Omex managment (Loved this car, till it rotted away!)
205 1.1 - lol! Best laugh ever!

Escort RS2000 16v
Pug 306 dTurbo, heavily modified and eventually converted to S16 engine. Massive spec.
Another RS2000 16v whilst building the 306
Impreza WRX - My best and favourite car to date! Been wanting one since I seen McRae a Co. on its first outing on the RAC/Rally GB whatever it was called all the way back then! Finally got one a couple months ago

1998 i had a ford orion with a erst engine fitted to it at 18
got nicked and parked in garage to restore and got summons for court that banned me for a while and retest so ignored cars and got pissed for a few years

2002 my missus bought me a erst as a present, wrote it off in a week
4 weeks later she bought me a escort cabrio that i turboed with the old erst,,,,, got banned a few weeks later for not declaring mods and speeding

2004 i bought a 1.3 escort due to insurance and licence situation, 9 points !!!

2005 my licence was almost clean so i bought a 350bhp cossie,
2006 bought a 325i bmw E36 for a runabout whilst cossie gets rebuild
2006 cossie was lifted before finished and stolen,, never seen since !!!
kept the bmw, went ring with it in 2007 !!
2008 got bored and so wanted another car,,, something i said i would never do !!! and bought the scoobie STI to take to the ring, still got the BMW too but i need to sell it though !

Quite and odd history Focus was meant to be an FTO but the trader offered me 3k for a 3 year old Almera SRi so I walked away
Mondeo ST24 was meant to be a Nissan 200SX but practicality got in the way.

So I've learnt my lesson and gone for something practical to start off with . but it will be the families second car anyway as we already have a C-max in the drive. Handy with 3 kids

Passed my test at the tender age of 17, now 26

No photo's for the 1st two unless I can be bothered scanning them in, before I had a digi you see, but your're not missing much trust me....

1. Ford Fiesta 1.1 "Quartz" in red year 1/2

2. Citroen Saxo 1.4 "Furio" - the one with the VTR bodykit - in red again. I fitted some alloys and proceeded to write it off after 8 months, and nearly wrote myself off! "Icy winter nights don't scare me" Not big, not clever, lesson learned.

3. MG ZR 120+ (the 1800cc one non VVC) for 3yrs Great little car and very YELLOW


4. 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX in sexxxxy black pretty much standard, 3yrs. Fantastic car and big step up in performance


Was about to tune it but plumped for my current ride instead.....

5. 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi in WR blue (the fastest colour ) only had it 2 months
