will it go bang?
hi all
ive just spoke to a well known tuning company and explained i have a sti v5 just had full rebuild and when its run in about getting it mapped. he said to set it up etc would be ok but to get a re-map and to start turning boost up etc he wouldnt recomend with a v5 p1 or 22b because they are prone to going bang? is this right?? i have a full s/s ex. and pannel filter i would like to run 330bhp

I ran 360ps and 361lbft of torque on my standard MY00 GT engine for years with no problems so an STI engine shouldn't break a sweat at 330.
However 370ps and I snapped a rod on the rear left cylinder
