Currently running on 215/40/17 on the car thinking of going for 225/35/17 anyone know if a: They will fit under the arches? b: are they the same rolling radius?

Hi Mr A

I think you'll find there is a difference between the rolling radius for the two sizes of tyre.

Subject to the offset of your wheels being the same as that of the 18" P1 alloys, then yes, 225's should fit under the arches. I'm aware that you need to use P-Zero's though as they are slightly narrower sidewall-wise.

In the past I've managed to get some excellent advice from the tyre manufacturers themselves. Yokohama were particulary helpful.

Thanks for the help in that case what profile 225 would I need to put on a 17 inch rim, to keep same rolling radius?
