yes the limiter can be removed, its a simple thing to do but a bit fiddly at the same time.

ra gear ratios are too short for top end speed. more BHP will give you better top end but gearing also comes into play.

I'd imagine 345B HP is enough to reach the terminal speed of an RA (delimited).

Getting there though may be somewhat quicker with 440

you need a speedo converter off ebay to convert to mph and removes the limiter at the same time, circa £60

If it were delimited then you would still noly get to around 125-130 mph (on a track obviously)

^^^ in an RA-R Thought the gearing was the same as a spec c?

Mine hits 100 faster than my e39 M5 did (thats pretty quick in my book)
and carrys on pulling really well all the way to the fastest speed I've had it. Not on public roads obviously.
Gordy, I'm suprised you say it tails off noticably. I'd say mine could pull another gear

Sorry didnt see the R at the end of the RA.
Would have thought that they would be the same gearing as a spec c as madisonmonkey states

Maybe the ecu has spotted something and knocked back the multiplier?

u might just benefit from say de cat in your down pipe 3 port boost , uprated acuator from turbo dynamics Wich will hold a good 1.6 bar with your turbo and engine and a map tweek by some one ie bob rawl or some one close to u andy forester etc etc... that combonation works really really well on my spec c...

Its a Litchfields car so has the 100 cell miltek sports cat, no benefit changing it tbh, but agree with you on the 3 port solenoid, but only if going for much more power (think they do that on powerstations 400+ package anyway )
