Default Oil Leak....???

Can anyone suggest areas for a potential oil leak on my classic impreza?

I have got a small leak from what appears to be the back of the engine, near the gearbox area.

I have cleaned the engine and been under the car while it has been running, but i still havent been able to find exactly where the leak is coming from....

any help is greatly appreciated
cheers
Chris.

Default Crank case gaskets

are known to go on the subarus mine had a new engine in last may and both sets of seals have started to leak this would probably account for the burning oil smell as it drips onto the manifoldand burns off.
Luckily mines getting replaced via the warranty but its a place to start.PHEW!

i had the same with mine lastmonth it wasnt nothing bad it was just a cam seal, i could smell it really bad in the car but couldnt find it so took back to my engine builders where they strippd all the covers off and found the problem. it was weeping out small bit then run down the cover and then drop on the heards and burn off hence why i couldnt find it and it never drippd on the drive
