Howdy people..... long time lurker and (hopefully soon) a blobeye sti owner....

Thought I'd say firstly, hello and secondly, thanks for all the wealth of information and experience on this board.... You guys have finally convinced me I need AWD and 225+BHP.....

Anyhows, I'm just off to go see what I hope will be my first scooby and wanted to know if you guys could recommend some sort of vehicle inspector to check the car over.

I was looking at a service offered by RAC (costing about £250ish) but wanted to know if there was a more specific Scooby biased company that could point out any possible problems.

The vehicle is in Birmingham so I guess the company would have to be local.... Any ideas chaps? Ladies?

er ... RAC is good enough to be honest mate, they tend to be well informed !

TBH I wouldn't bother that much with an inspection with the RAC etc. I got Prosport to do an inspection on a 22b I was thinking of a few years ago, very very thorough, and they are Subaru specialists.

Thats exactly what I was looking for mate, cheers for that. Unfortunately, I ended up using a company called Auteco who will be giving it the once over prior to purchase.

I'll look to take it up to a 'specialist' once money/car have changed hands (all going well)....
