hi guys ive bought a baily dump valve ive fitted it as per instructions but the valve stays open is this ment to happen? it does dump the air & the piston works fine.....im just wondering if this is normal as im new to scoobys, as the last car i had was a delta integrale and the same dump valve did not oparate in the same way. my impreza is a 97 import WRX 2.0 turbo please help

If the car is making boost until you back off the throttle its working. Did u fit it?

mate i love the vent sound i have a import 99 sti i fitted a baileys n had same probs and blitz ind. kit i have now gone bk. to std d.v. and a pannel filter it is much better dont know why exact. but it made my car run like a bag of!!! even with a map the d.vs cause probs i think n the filter was just choking in warm air get a pannel you gt better flow n no warm air not sure on the too technical stuff but it runs n pulls better
i was told you would you would get same power gains form a pannel filter when its mapped untill you start going over 380-400bhp

thanks guys al try a week about on standard then a week on baily & see if there is a differance btw its a VTA
