Any one painted their stainless mud flap brackets
Fitting some black performance creation mud flaps this afternoon.
Just considering painting the stainless steel brackets black, so they blend in with the black flaps.
Anyone done this before?? If so what did you paint then with and how did is last on the car??
Cheers Paul

Scott Lowe
Hi,
I've got Black Scott Lowe flaps with black anodised brackets, however they have started to show the metal due to stone chips. I'd therefore suggest you leave them stainless, unless you want to keep painting them.
Best regards,
Ian

I was only thinking this morning when cleaning my wheels what a hammering my brackets had taken from stone chips . I think painted ones would start to look pretty bad after a few weeks.
