Question

Hi
Just bought a p1,pick it up on saturday.Does anybody know where I could get the 18" p1 wheels from(Cheap).I originally wanted a car with all the upgrades, but felt the car I have bought was too good to miss.Even though it's bog standard, apart from the prodrive backbox. Also if I did get the 18" wheels, I would be wanting to sell my 17" p1 wheels.Any ideas on how much I would get for them.

Cheers.

O,

I got £975 for mine when new, so you should get at least £700 depending on condition.

Tell us more about the car, age, mileage etc and what you paid..

Martin,
The wheels are like new, 10 months old.Theres only one tiny mark on one of them. The tyres have about 3mm on them.I've paid just less than 23k for the car. It's a 2001 Y2 WRC done 19k,bought from a main dealers for cash,no px as I sold my evo 6 private.

Cheers.

Talking

You will need also to get a deal from your denist on fillings if you drive many b road routes!
18" does give a rough ride on a P1.

Hmm that reg plate sounds familiar - off the top of my head thats sounds like the one that was for sale at Subaru Rochdale. If you dont mind me asking what was the advertised price and did you pay that or manage to haggle some off?

What stereo eqpt was in the car. I left it with a Sony CD player and a Crossfire amp with Cerwin Vega speakers all round.

BTW it should have the Gas Discharge driving lamps in as well.

Nice car.. your best bet is to buy the 18"s without tyres and get that part done yourself, works out cheaper...

Alex

Paulmon - I know exactly how you feel, someone posted what a bargain my old P1 was several months back

To be fair either the BMW dealer who bought the car from me has lost out or Robinsons have lost out, because I was given 22K for the car.

Cool

P1 Fanatic,
It is the car from subaru rochdale. The advertised price was 25.5k, but I knocked them down to just less than 23k cash.Included in the price they are fitting new front discs and pads.
Paulmon,(Thankyou,thankyou,thankyou)
The car is from what I have seen exactly as you sold it.It has a single cd player in.The amp is still in the boot but how do I tell if the driving lamps are the gas discharge ones.
I was going to contact you after I had picked the car up,just to get a bit more info on the car. This will make life alot easier now,if you can tell me a bit of history on the car.

Cheers, hope to hear from you soon.

It not a P1 but I run 18's on an MY00 and no tramlining at all (toyos t1-s 215x35x18 and they look like rubber bands ), must be the pink struts . The ride is actually a lot better than my 16" STI alloys with OE tyres. It is firmer than my old MY98 UK with 17" though
