Hi,
I want to have my alloys painted or powder coated anthracite, can anyone tell me which method produces a better finish,and any recommendations of companies to use.

As I wasn't sure myself whether to have my wheels powder coated or painted I contacted a few alloy wheel manufacturers. The reply from the three that I spoke to was the same in all cases. That was to have them painted. They said so long as the job was done well and the finish baked I would have no problems.
Mine have been gold for two years now and still look brilliant.

If you want advice, go to the Autosport show and speak to the alloy wheel manufacturers who you will find really helpful.
