Question Classic KeyFob

My KeyFob/Immobiliser is starting to show signs that the button is becoming less reliable.

I know it is a SIGMA Alarm System that was put on when the cars came into the UK.

Am I correct in assuming that it would be cheaper to go to Sigma for replacements than go to a Subaru Main Dealer?

Can we program the new keyfob ourselves via. the keypad inside the car?

Are Sigma still in business?

A new fob, reprogrammed to match your existing fobs, is about thirty quid at K.T. Green in Yorkshire. I wouldn't worry.
