Wink

Some will say you shouldn't wrap cast headers, however many, including myself have done this without any problems. Did mine over two years/20k ago..

What implications can be caused by wraping the headers?

Yes, theoretically cast headers can crack if wrapped, but as mentioned previously this doesn't seem to be the case with scoob headers.

I think if you over wrap them (ie 2-3 layers) then maybe it could be an issue..

If you wrap so that each time you go round you overlap the previous layer by half the width of the wrap. You then end up with 2 layers..

Good idea to spray them after with some VHT (exhaust) paint, as this seals the material to moister/water and helps prevent them smelling like a wet dog when it's pi55ing it down..

TBH I think you'd need to seriously overdo the wrapping for it to be a problem, eg 4+ layers and you're not going to do that as it'll cost you a fortune..!
