Aberdeen trip... Sti motorway mileage
Well, all done. Thanks for the mileage opinions and advice that you guys gave out. On Friday morning I filled up to the brim with V-power and hot tailed it to aberdeen (398miles) in our blob sti.
The first tank driving at 80mph in 6th gave us just over 300 miles to the tank
On the way home it was less (200 per tank) because I wasn't hanging around and wanted to get home so we “went a bit faster”
What did suprise me was how much oil a trip like that uses and how many bug I managed to kill.
I also managed to scare my father-in-law silly on a little drive into the wonderful Aberdeen countryside. He DID ask for it... he likes to used little quotes like “there's not much on these roads faster than my freelander”
AND “I don't hang about me”.
He now has a confirmed fear of Imprezas
