Has anyone else seen the June issue of EVO Magazine yet?

New STi VS EVO X.
I won't spoil it for everyone - but the closing sentence is

"Jumping back into the STi as the sun sinks, it's clear the STi wins this battle. It's more engaging to drive, the engine feels much stronger and there's simply more of what you want, what you expect, from a thrilling rally-stage refugee. When you add in the price difference too, it's a clear winner.

(However, it does go on to say he'd prefer an EVO IX over both of them!)

It's well worth buying the mag - quite a good review.
Personally, I'm thinking that things are starting to look up for the new STi!

It's just a shame that even the scoob didn't merit 5 stars. They used to give the older vintages 5 stars without even thinking twice .....

They have changed the star rating system now and five stars are only presented to "truly great cars". Four stars represents "seriously good".

Both blobeye and hawkeye spec c's achive a five star rating

They're one of the few magazines etc who have put the sti ahead of the evo, most are going the other way. That sst gearbox doesn't half slow it down from a standing start too.
