has anyone replaced a clutch on a 96
hi all
my clutch is starting to go and am considering replacing it myself,has anyone attempted it them selves and is it fairly straight forward or should i let a garage take care of it ?????????

Heavy, awkward, but not impossible.
911 is but one person I know who has done it with the car on axle stands. It's how I'll be doing mine when the time comes.
It's one of 'those' jobs though where you can give it a go, everthing goes easily (apart from the struggle), and you feel good about yourself afterwards about the cash you've saved.
It could quite easily be a pain and you wished you'd paid out for someone else to tackle.
Not too sure if it would be easier with ramps rather than axle stands though.
