Default Using water from header tank? My00

How much Should I use? What could be the cause of using to much?

Don't think my rad is leaking.
Ive found the same thing on my normal rad cap and my 1.3 bar sti cap.
Any ideas?

If the radiator isn't leaking & you can't find any other leaks it will probably be the headgasket (if you are continually losing water from the header tank).

Mine was doing this for about 18months...

Looked everywhere for the leak but it was only loosing a small amount every month so I just lived with it.

Turned out that the top rad hose had a tiny pin ***** sized hole in it and was very slowly leaking out under pressure.

put a new hose in a couple of months ago and it hasn't lost a drop since

Ady.

I was losing water from my expansion tank (MY99) and suspected the worst- head gasket. But no, a simple test at the local garage revealed it wasn't the gasket (they stick a syringe type thing in the header tank, and the liquid inside changes colour if it's HG) - then they found a very small leak from the rad which I'd not been able to detect (they pressurised the system) - one new rad later and all was fine. So it could just be a small leak that you're not noticing.
