bugeye boost solenoid
hi all, i attempted to clean my boost solenoid yesterday but when i put it in test mode, nothing happened.. the fans kicked in as they should but there was no noise, ticking or anythin from the solenoid is this normal?
also when i squirted carb cleaner into it the cleaner came back out from where i squirted it in,nothing came out of the other pipe if you know what i mean.. could this mean its blocked?
anyone help

I didn't think the test mode was applicable to bugeye's, it was only for classics.
I stand by to be corrected, but I never found the connectors when mine was playing up.

For some strange reason the bugeye still has the green connectors buried deep under the dash..... despite them being redundant with the OBD II port taking over the dignostic work under the steering column !!
What was the original problem ??
